Warranty Coverage

My Buddy Gard offers a manufacturer’s warranty on our Buddy Watch devices. The warranty period depends on the service chosen:

Standard purchase: 13 months from the date of delivery (12 months + 1 month processing time)
NDIS and Aged Care participants: 24 months if they renew the Buddy Plan
Devices sold by Buddy Partners: 36 months from the date of delivery
Your warranty certificate will be sent via email 30 days after shipping.

What’s Covered

We warrant that the product will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for the specified warranty period. Any defect found within this period and determined to be within the scope of the warranty will be repaired by My Buddy Gard, with all charges for labor and materials covered.

What’s Not Covered

The following are not covered under warranty:

Damage, tears, or breakage caused by the user
Broken or cracked LCD screens
Water damage
Straps, buckles, and latches broken during normal use
Damage resulting from improper care or use, including:
Immersion in liquids or chemicals
Exposure to fire, extreme heat, or high-temperature environments
Improper charging practices
Use of damaged chargers or trackers
Tampering with or opening the device casing
Warranty Repair Process
All warranty repair work must be carried out by My Buddy Gard or other authorized warranty repair facilities as allocated by My Buddy Gard. If a defect is found to be within the scope of the warranty, it will be repaired at no cost to the customer.

If it is determined that either no fault exists or the damage was caused by user negligence, the customer will be notified and given the choice of whether to proceed with the repair at their own expense.

Care Instructions

To maintain your device and preserve your warranty:

Adhere to the water-resistance rating (IP67): suitable for dishwashing and showering, not for swimming.
Keep the device dry and avoid immersion in liquids or chemicals.
Protect from heat, fire, and high-temperature environments.
Use only the Buddy charger or computer USB ports for charging.
Don’t attach the charger to other metal objects.
Fully charge before first use.
Don’t use damaged chargers or trackers.
Don’t open or tamper with the casing.
Clean charging contacts regularly with the provided rubber/brush or soft fabric. Rubbing alcohol can be used if needed.

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee from the time you receive the goods for merchandise purchased from our website. Please note:

The first month’s SIM data plan, including setup and account activation, is non-refundable.
Postage and additional accessories are non-refundable.
Products must be returned in their original condition with all original packaging.
Return postage and insurance costs are the buyer’s responsibility.
We recommend using Registered post, Platinum Express Post, or Courier for returns.
My Buddy Gard is not responsible for parcels lost or damaged in transit if not insured.
